My daughter loves going to the dentist. LOVES it! She gets a bit jealous when her little brother has a dental appointment and she doesn’t. This is amazing to me, given how much I hated going to the dentist when I was a kid.

The right dentist is crucial from the start, isn’t it? I took my son to my dentist for years, just so he could ride up and down in the chair – long before his first checkup! Love both of your quotes!

I got very lucky to have a super cool dentist who is very good with children. I don’t enjoy going much but it has to be done. My kids have always left with a smile on their faces… But I know some people just cannot stand going to the dentist.

Nice one:) I have a similar list for our boy. One of the first things I thought of was how we always got peed on when changing his diaper back in his baby days. Lol. Speaking of diapers, I was told that once when he ran out of pull-ups to nap in at daycare and the teacher put on a pink one on him, he was super upset. He had a sad face and told the other teacher that he was wearing a “girl” pull-up:( He’s a boy and likes it that way!

Somebody likes the dentist alright! 6 months comes around so fast. Our little guy is heading back next month. So far, he has been loving it too. Hooray!

I had an evil dentist as a child, (his ceiling ‘look at this and be distracted!’ art was a board of pinned butterflies) but switched to sweet as pie orthodontist when I was 11 so I guess that one won out…I don’t mind the dentist, but I have tonnes of fillings, which I show to my kids periodically when they complain about brushing.
They went for their first visit a month or so ago and were so excited by the new toothbrushes they brushed five times a day for a few days. Oh kids.

We’re going back in March and I’m not looking forward to it. Lilah’s first visit wasn’t exactly a walk in the park.
